Gentics Portal.Node PHP requires the following software packages:

Supported Web Servers:

• Apache 2.2.x
  • mod_rewrite
• Nginx (current version)

PHP compatibility:

• PHP 5.3+ , PHP 7.x
• Required extensions:
  • libapache2-mod-php
  • php-mysql
  • php-gd
  • php-mcrypt
  • php-memcache (if using cache only)
  • php-memcached (if using cache only)
• PECL extensions:
  • APC or APCu
• CURL

Note: You might need to add a version number like 5, 7.0 or 7.1 to the above packages in order to install them

Database:

• MySQL 5.1+ (Gentics Portal.Node PHP 1.3 onwards Support for MySQL 5.6)
• (or) PostgreSQL 8.4
• Microsoft SQL-Server – in preparation
• Oracle SQL-Server – in preparation

Caching System:

• Memcached v 1.4.x
• APC
• Caching Guide

Application Server:

• Apache Tomcat 6++
