Why Kubernetes?
Kubernetes automates deployment, scaling and operation of containerized applications and is our recommended platform for running Gentics Content Management Platform in production (see ). Gentics provides the container images and the Kubernetes resource configuration as Helm charts, with a documented values.yaml per component — keep your own values files in source control. Depending on your contract, image and configuration for Gentics Portal are provided by Gentics or created by yourself.
