Accessibility (your website without barriers)

For many years now public institutions are required to make their websites barrier-free available to the public, allowing every citizen to use the same information and processes.

For this purpose multiple standards from W3C are available, which should be supported by a CMS.

The Gentics Enterprise CMS supports you by creating your website barrier-free, no matter if you choose between WAI-A, WAI-AAA or WCAG 2.0 and ARIA. In our CMS mandatory image information, information on charts or specifications of technical terms are already included.

Enterprises should follow these examples and make their corporate websites and applications barrier-free available too.
